Scope of engagement

Services are provided under a written engagement letter that defines scope, deliverables, fees, term and termination. Nothing on this website constitutes an offer capable of acceptance, and published rates are indicative starting points rather than quotations.

Not legal, tax or regulatory advice

Material published on this site — including articles on entity types, market entry structures and taxation — is general information about commercial practice in Japan. It is not legal, tax, accounting or regulatory advice, and it does not create a professional relationship. Entity selection, licensing, employment arrangements and tax positions must be confirmed with a Japanese licensed professional before you act.

Client materials and confidentiality

Client names appear on this site only where the client has agreed to be identified. Commercial terms, proposal contents and performance data specific to an individual client are treated as confidential and are not published.

Third-party partners

Certain services are delivered with named partner organizations. Where a partner performs work, Sekaichi Inc. remains the contracting party and is responsible to the client for delivery, unless the engagement letter states otherwise.

Intellectual property

Site content, other than third-party marks, is the property of Sekaichi Inc.. Client-owned assets created during an engagement — advertising accounts, marketplace stores, creative, customer data and partner agreements — remain the property of the client and transfer on handover.

Governing law

Use of this website is governed by the laws of Japan. Engagement-specific governing law and dispute resolution are set out in the applicable engagement letter.
